Good questions to ask any provider.
What is an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)?
An agreement for planned maintenance and support of your IT systems over a year, with agreed scope, visit frequency and response targets.
How is an AMC priced?
By scope: number of users and devices, sites, visit frequency, response targets and any dedicated or extended-hours cover. You receive a written quotation. These plans are indicative models; final coverage is agreed in your contract.
What is not covered?
Unless stated in your agreement: replacement parts, third-party licences and subscriptions, damage from misuse, and projects outside the agreed scope. These are quoted separately.
Can you take over from our current vendor?
Yes. We begin with a survey and inventory, then agree a baseline so responsibilities are clear from day one.
Can an AMC cover equipment we did not buy from you?
Usually yes, subject to a survey. Manufacturer warranty and parts availability may affect what can be repaired.
