Wi-Fi, Access Points & Network Printers

Wi-Fi that works in every room and printers that everyone can actually use.

Overview

What this service covers

Dead zones, dropping connections and printers that vanish from the network are the most visible IT problems for staff. Most come from poor access-point placement, channel clashes or printers on changing IP addresses.

We survey, place and configure access points properly, and set up network printers with fixed addresses and sensible sharing so they stay found.

Designed. Deployed. Supported.

What's included

  • Wi-Fi site survey and access-point placement planning
  • Access-point installation, configuration and PoE planning
  • Separate staff and guest SSIDs with sensible security

Typical scenarios

Where clients ask for this.

Weak coverage

Re-position or add access points and fix channel interference.

Guest access

Isolated guest Wi-Fi that cannot reach your internal systems.

Printer keeps disappearing

Fixed address, correct drivers and shared queue for every user.

Technology landscape

Options we work with and compare.

Examples of widely used products, listed for orientation only. IT SupportSphere is vendor-neutral: being named here does not imply any partnership or endorsement. We recommend based on your needs, budget, licensing and local support availability.

Wi-Fi platforms

Ubiquiti UniFi, TP-Link Omada, Aruba (Instant On / Central), Ruckus, Cisco Meraki, Juniper Mist, Fortinet FortiAP

Management models

What to compare

Wi-Fi generation, PoE class needed, number of radios, management model, licensing, roaming support

FAQs

Questions about Wi-Fi, Access Points & Network Printers

Why is Wi-Fi slow in some rooms?

Usually distance and walls, overlapping channels or too few access points. A survey identifies the cause so you fix it once instead of guessing.

Do we need separate guest Wi-Fi?

Yes, we recommend it. Guests should reach the internet only, never your internal servers, printers or cameras.

Why does our printer stop working after a restart?

It likely gets a different IP address each time. Assigning a fixed address or DHCP reservation, and sharing the queue properly, normally resolves it.
